Information

We have put together an information leaflet which answers the most frequently asked questions by parents. It also gives Parents and Guardians a guideline to the way we run our business and the rulings we have concerning it.
 

Our main ambition is to provide the best group lessons in Bradford. We believe we have accomplished this, with lessons of excellent quality, which are second to none, and with one Teacher to a max of eight beginners!
 

Academy of Swimming lessons take place within good facilities, in an environment that is always friendly, where children can gain confidence, learn to swim and have fun in safety. 
 

All our Instructors are fully qualified A.S.A. Teachers, Affiliated to the Institute of Swimming Teachers.
Where appropriate our Instructors can get in the water with the children.
 

Our age range is approximately 3 years up to and including adults.
 

We run a nationally recognised Badge Scheme. This is the Amateur Swimming Association Award Scheme, which with us commences with the `Duckling One` Award, and culminates with the Gold Challenge Award and Rainbow Distance Awards starting at 5 metres in conjunction with this scheme we will run the S.T.A. 

Badges including Certificates - £3.00.
 

Badges are awarded as and when standard is achieved! 
 

Our main number is 01274 200687. This number is linked to an answer machine when we are not available, so do not hesitate to ring in the evenings or at weekends.
We do try to return every call within two days.
 

There is no need for parents to bring any Swimming Aid Equipment (e.g. arm bands), as it is all provided.
 

Parents are encouraged to stay and watch their children's lessons.
